The blade is otherwise nearly immaculate with a beautiful nickel shine and some slight glide marks.Handle features black bakelite grip scales and fittings with some very slight pocks of patina. Original black-finished steel scabbard. It has no dents. Comes with a leather frog which has a felt backing. Also includes NCO portepee which is in very nice condition.Length: 40 cm (long type)

Ставки принимаются через менеджераVery rare Luftwaffe bayonet style fighting knife mady by Chromolit-Besteckfabrikc Arthur Wingen (Ch.A.W.). These knives were made with real horn grip plates attached with three screws. Clean bayonet style blade marked with the distributor ‘Waffen-Loesche Berlin’. These knives were sometimes numbered on the blade and scabbard, and so is this one, stamped with the number ‘204’ on the front of the blade and on the front of the scabbard under the scabbard lip. The spine of the blade is marked ‘H’ near the steel oval cross guard as seen on most of these knives. Original black factory painted steel bayonet style scabbard. Brown leather Luftwaffe frog attached.

He was awarded the German Cross in gold on 8.6.1942 as an Oberleutnant with II./Infanterie-Regiment 186 and the Knight’s Cross on 6.10.1942 serving as the leader of the I./Infanterie-Regiment 186.Two tunics, photos and documents were coming from the family about 10 years ago. His medals as well as other uniform items were still at the family at this time. When researching his career, we found out that his medals were sold in 2021: https://www.invaluable.com/auction-lot/nachlass-des-ritterkreuztraegers-selhorst-803-c-c2848b8b4d His award documents are still exist. All items were are offering with this auction have never been in collector’s hands before and absolutely fresh to the market. Other personal postwar family related photos and documents are available outside the auction
