Grouping to Oberleutnant Walter Brandt, Knight’s Cross winner on 24. March 1943 as Flugzeugführer of the I./Jagdgeschwader 77. He was also awarded the German Cross in Gold and Luftwaffe Honor Goblet. Oberleutnant Brandt flew a total of 527 sorties during WWII and achieved 57 aerial victories. He was involved in the campaigns in Crete and Africa.An excellent painting (portrait) showing him as an Oberfeldwebel. He wears all of his awards. Painted on canvas and mounted on a wooden board.
