WW2 German 1939 Iron Cross Award Grouping of Three Awarded to Unteroffizier Johann Tessner, Kampfgeschwader 6, Killed in Action 29th January 1944 When His Aircraft Crashed near Osnabruck, the awards consisting of 1939 Iron Cross 1st class with pin and catch fixing to the reverse of the award, the medal is mounted onto a court mounted medal pair bar of 1939 Iron Cross 2nd class and War Service Cross 2nd class with swords. The awards come with a handwritten tag giving the information of the original owner and that the awards were given to a UK collector by the widow of Tessner in April 2000. We have not removed the 1st class from the medal bar to see if any maker details are on the pin.
